We are a Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS) club hosted by the Kayaderosseras Fish & Game Club, 706 Geyser Rd., Ballston Spa, NY. We are affiliated with the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) and the National Rifle Association (NRA).

We generally have 40-60 shooters at our monthly events. Registration runs from 8:30-9:30 AM. There is a mandatory safety meeting for all shooters at 9:45 AM. Shooting starts at 10 AM and runs until approximately 3 PM. Registration fees will be $18 with a discount for SASS and Circle K members; Young Guns (age 14-16) and Buckaroos (age 12-13) will be $6. Spectators are free. Eye protection is mandatory.

The Single Action Shooting Society is an international organization created to preserve and promote the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting. SASS endorses regional matches conducted by affiliated clubs , stages END of TRAIL The World Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting, promulgates rules and procedures to ensure safety and consistency in Cowboy Action Shooting matches

The ATA serves as the faithful protector of the sport of trapshooting. As the largest clay target shooting organization in the world, the ATA governs the sport's rules and regulations and seeks ways to further enhance the sport and increase participation.

The ATA was founded in 1900 as the American Trapshooting Association and later changed to the Amateur Trapshooting Association in 1923. A Board of Directors, composed of state and provincial delegates govern all ATA policy matters. The Executive Committee, which is comprised of one representative from each of the five Zones, provides stewardship for the association throughout the year. The organization's day-to-day business is guided by an Executive Director and a team of professionals at the national headquarters in Sparta, IL.

A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League is a ladies-only organization established by women shooters for women pistol, rifle, and shotgun shooters! The league is designed to take beginners to whatever skill level they wish to achieve and provide experienced shooters with more opportunities. The objective of some is to improve their skill levels for self-defense and competitive shooting. Others also are interested in learning how to choose the right guns, gear, and accessories for long-term participation in the community.

The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is a national organization dedicated to training and educating U. S. citizens in responsible uses of firearms and airguns through gun safety training, marksmanship training and competitions. The CMP is a federally chartered 501(c)(3) corporation that places its highest priority on serving youth through gun safety and marksmanship activities that encourage personal growth and build life skills.
